Ca.SPOW = California Spotted Owl
This video was taken summer of 2008. I remember being waist deep in poison oak, and very hot while the video was being filmed by my crew mate Eric Kwedar. Spotted Owls need to be protected, from what or by who, nobody seems to be able to agree upon. The photo, taken by chelsea potts is nice. The owl looks like that because she just ate a big fat mouse. In the wild they eat flying squirrels, dusky footed woodrats, and the like. This mouse came from a pet store. Wildlife Conservation is a funny thing.
